.Reminders
There are only a few rules that the RMCC asks riders to follow on our rides. You must wear a helmet at all times, we do not allow headphones and Ipods (as they make riding in a group less safe), and we ask that you follow the rules of the road, including stopping at stop signs and following the two-abreast rule. Note that some roads such as Deer Creek Canyon are posted as single-file only. Thanks!

Mountain Bike?
While the RMCC focuses on road riding, it's a well-known fact that many of our riders also mountain bike. If you looking to meet others who mountain bike and if you would be interested in some small group mountian bike rides, please contact Keith Liese. He is putting together an e-mail list and some non-RMCC mountain bike rides. In your e-mail, please let him know your riding preferences:
- Cardio: 1 = easy grades, 5 = hard climbing
- Technical: 1 = smooth singletrack, 5 = very technical
- Ride Length Preference
- Day of Week Preference
- Interested in Trips? Ex: Moab, Fruita, Crested Butte
Include any other information about yourself. As interest builds, he'll be sending out email notifications to let you know about upcoming ride opportunities!
Join us on Facebook
Please join us on the RMCC Facebook group. From the recent survey we did of our members, several people asked for more Web 2.0 features or other ways to connect via the web. We've looked into adding message boards to our site in the past, but the experience of other clubs has been that such boards aren't used that much. The Facebook group allows for message-board discussions, but also makes it easier to interact in other ways, to track down people you meet on rides, and to invite your friends to learn more about us. Please join and contribute!
Getting updates about RMCC
If you'd like to get updates about the club delivered to you instead of having to check the website for any news, you can sign up to get news delivered to you by e-mail or RSS feed. The context of the updates is pretty much the same information that is posted on the homepage. Updates come out one or twice per week, so we won't spam your inbox.
