Tuesday Night Hill Climb

Ready to ride: 6:00 PM every Tuesday from April through August (weather permitting).  Contact Sargent McDonald, Mark Michel, or Chris Skinner if in doubt.

Meeting Place: The northeast corner of Parfet Park in Golden located near Washington and 10th (in downtown Golden)

Who's invited: Everyone. This ride is best suited for average and above average riders.

Route: This out-and-back route leaves from Parfet Park. We ride together to the base of Lookout Mountain on 19th Street, just across from US Highway 6. From here, each person rides his/her own speed to the top of Lookout Mountain. The finish line is at the entrance of the Buffalo Bill Museum. From Parfet Park to the finish line is 6.5 miles with a gain in elevation of 1,580 feet.

If time permits, additional mileage may be added beyond the finish line. Extras include the Boettcher Mansion loop, out to US Highway 40, and out to the Genesee exit.
