Saturday July 21 thru Saturday July 28th
Returning after being absent for a couple of years is the Super Summer Contrail! Previously hosted by Charlie Henderson and later by myself, Brent Myers, the summer Contrail is designed as a fun and challenging tour in the Colorado Mountains. Take the next step and join us for a challenging 8 days in the southwest area of Colorado with daily mileage between 70 to 132 miles per day. Starting and finishing in Summit county 70 miles west of Denver, the route will take us into Durango and include the following passes: Vail, McClure, Red Mountain, Molas, Coal Bank, Wolf Creek, North Pass, Cottonwood Pass, and Fremont pass.
Sag vehicle is included with this tour along with double occupancy lodging. Meals are from local eateries and coolers will be provided for your daytime dining. As tradition of past and present Contrails, there is cost recovery for the vehicle, lodging, driver, and miscellaneous items adding up to a very reasonable 8 days of riding. Historically the fees have been between $500 and $700 dollars per person plus food. There will be a limit of 18 riders and riders must be capable fofdoing the majority of the riding.
Contact Brent Myers to learn more and to sign up. Deadline is May 15th.
